ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Ithaca College softball team is on a roll.

On Tuesday, the Bombers beat Cortland in both games of a doubleheader. Each game was decided by one run.

In the first contest, Ithaca senior Cate Murray led the Bombers to a 3-2 victory. Murray hit a double and had a stolen base.

In the second game, Ithaca tallied four runs in the fourth inning. That proved to be enough, as the Bombers held on for a 4-3 victory.

With the wins, Ithaca improved its overall record to 20-7. The team has won six straight games.
