ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca College is losing an administrator.

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Tim Downs has found a new job. He’s leaving the school on June 15 for a position at the Institute for Advanced Study.

Ithaca College has been working to eliminate its budget deficit. Downs told The Ithacan he believes his departure will have minimal impact on those efforts.

The college will launch a national search committee for a new vice president and chief financial officer.
