Ithaca man accused of hitting child, stealing from ex


ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Several charges have been filed against an Ithaca man. 

Police say Hodari Martin stole property from their former partner during a dispute late Friday afternoon on the Commons. Their nine-year-old child, who reportedly was trying to protect the victim, was injured when Martin allegedly threw the child down. The 53-year-old is also accused of harassing people on the Commons and becoming combative with officers.

Martin is charged with felony robbery and four misdemeanors, including resisting arrest.
