ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — An Ithaca man is under arrest for attempted murder.

The Ithaca Police Department says officers were dispatched to an apartment building on E. Green St. around 1:35 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15 for a stabbing. Officers found a victim who’d been stabbed, IPD said.

58-year-old Duane Magee was arrested a short time later at the Seneca St. parking garage. He’s been charged with attempted murder and assault, which are felonies. Magee is now in the Tompkins County jail.
