ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – Ithaca has been named one of the best college towns in the country.

TheCampusAdvisor.com ranks Ithaca #8 on its 30 Best College Towns in the United States 2024 list.

The overall score is generated from the following 8 categories: academic excellence, student friendliness, cost of living, cultural diversity, nightlife, public transport, and safety. Ithaca receives fairly high marks in nearly all of them, save for the cost of living, but ranks first in public transportation and fourth in academic excellence.

 

 

The list was compiled after a review of more than 40,000 student ratings.
