Ithaca stabbing victim in stable condition

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca Police are investigating a stabbing.

IPD says the victim was discovered a little before 1:30 a.m. Thursday, June 11 in the 300 block of Elmira Rd. The victim had stab wounds in the back and hip. They’re in stable condition at a trauma center.

“The suspect was not on scene at the time of Officers arrival,” police said. “It is believed the suspect and victim knew each other and that this is not a random act of violence.”
