LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) — Two leaders in local education are joining Lansing’s Zoning Advisory Committee.

The group is welcoming Lansing Central School District Superintendent Chris Pettograsso and Assistant Superintendent of Business Administration Kathryn Heath. Pettograsso and Heath were unanimously appointed to the committee on May 20.

Joe Wetmore, Lansing’s deputy town supervisor, said one seat will be shared between the two.

“They’re going to choose which of them comes to each of the committee meetings,” Wetmore said. “Sometimes one of them can’t make it, so the other will come.”

Pettograsso and Heath will serve on the committee through the end of 2026.
