LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) – A Tompkins County man awaits his day in court.

On August 7, deputies executed a search warrant around 11 p.m. after receiving a tip that drugs were being stored and sold at 2 Village Circle in the Town of Lansing.

Jimmy Lee Harris, 53, was identified as the sole occupant of the apartment and detained at the scene while the search was conducted. Authorities say they seized 111 grams of suspected fentanyl, 31 grams of cocaine, a 9mm handgun with a high-capacity magazine, a digital scale, packaging materials, and cash.

Harris was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor criminal use of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned and held in Tompkins County Jail without bail.
