Legislators commission study on Tompkins County minimum wage

ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Tompkins County legislators are moving ahead on a minimum wage.

Communications Director Dominick Recckio shared details Wednesday on Ithaca’s Morning News.

If green lit by legislators, Tompkins would be the first New York county to establish a separate minimum wage.

Recckio says the study will begin next year.
