Legislators considering ‘improvements’ to Tompkins County jail

LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) — Can Tompkins County’s jail expand? 

Legislator Rich John says the question is being asked in Public Safety Committee meetings, where John serves as chair.

Changes at the jail are under consideration.

John, who chairs the Public Safety Committee, stresses no decision has been made.
