ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – The Ithaca DRI Local Planning Committee (LPC) is preparing for a meeting.

On August 18, the group will discuss the initial findings of its existing conditions analysis, see draft vision and goals for the project, and hear about the project boundary area, match requirements, and minimum project amounts.

It’s the LPC’s second meeting, and it will have a dedicated public comment period for attendees to share thoughts and ideas. Tuesday’s meeting takes place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tompkins County Public Library. It will be followed by a Public Workshop from 5:30 to 7:30.

Ithaca was named the Southern Tier winner of the state’s $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) in April.
