ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Today, May 6th, 2026, the 13th Annual Foodnet Meals on Wheels Mac n’ Cheese Bowl will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Local chefs from 18 of the area’s restaurants, food trucks, caterers, and other eateries will be serving their versions of mac ‘n cheese. After buying a ticket, participants can sample all of the dishes and vote for their favorites. A basket raffle, the Big Cheese Selfie Booth, a Kids’ Corner, and more will also be featured at this year’s event. Proceeds from the event go toward supporting meals and nutrition for older adults in Tompkins County.

“All of our staff here at Foodnet Meals on Wheels are excited to share the important work we do to support older adults and others in need all across Tompkins County!” says Aly Evans, Foodnet’s executive director. “The Mac ‘n Cheese Bowl fundraiser is vital to help us continue delivering nutritious meals and a safety check to some of our most increasingly marginalized neighbors.”

Information booths attended by representatives from 19 agencies offering programs that serve older adults will be there to inform about a wide array of resources available in Tompkins County to support healthy aging.

Tickets are on sale at www.foodnet.org/event, priced at $15 for adults and $10 for kids ages 5-12. Ticket prices will go up to $20 for adults and $15 for kids ages 5-12 at the door. Kids 4 years old and under get free admission.

Additional parking can be found in the lot next the Ithaca Farmers Market, Guthrie Ithaca City Harbor on Willow Ave, and the DMV lot on 3rd Street. Shuttles to and from the DMV lot will be offered by Gadabout and Longview.
