Man accused of throwing severed deer head at protestors charged with disorderly conduct

LAFAYETTE, NY (607NewsNow) – A Lafayette man accused of throwing a severed deer head at anti-ICE protestors has been identified and arrested.

According to the Syracuse Post-Standard, Antonio Pizzuto was charged with disorderly conduct on January 22.

Earlier this month, the 36-year-old allegedly tossed the head out of his pickup truck at a group of demonstrators at the intersection of Route 11 and 20 in Lafayette. At the time of the incident, authorities declined to identify the local business owner or discuss possible charges. Disorderly conduct is a violation in the State of New York.

Pizzuto is scheduled to appear in Lafayette Town Court on February 11.
