Man charged after allegedly hiding under woman’s bed in Cornell dorm


ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – A Stoneham, Massachusetts man faces charges for allegedly hiding in a woman’s dorm room at Cornell.

On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, Cornell Police received a 911 call just before midnight from a female student claiming she discovered a man, later identified as Noah Rebei, under her bed in the Keeton House residence hall. According to Cornell PD, the 21-year-old immediately fled and injured a resident on his way out. He was arrested the following day.

Rebei is charged with criminal trespass and assault, both misdemeanors. He’s due in Ithaca City Court on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. An order of protection was issued for the victim.
