QUEENS, NY (607NewsNow) — The Mets are losing their all-time home run leader.

Pete Alonso is heading to Baltimore. The slugger has reportedly agreed to a five-year, $155 million deal with the Orioles.

Alonso played seven seasons with the Mets. During his time in the Big Apple, he whacked 264 home runs and collected two Home Run Derby trophies.

Alonso’s exit follows the departure of All-Star closer Edwin Díaz, who reached a deal with the Dodgers earlier this week. Díaz played six seasons with the Mets.
