NEWFIELD, NY (607NewsNow) — More money is going to some staff members in the Newfield Central School District.

Superintendent Jesse Harper tells 607 News Now the district’s bus drivers are seeing bigger paychecks.

Harper says the raise recognizes the roles bus drivers play.

The $6 raise, which was approved by Newfield’s Board of Education earlier this month, applies to every bus driver in the district.
