Newfield woman hit by car, authorities say

NEWFIELD, NY (607NewsNow) — A Newfield woman is recovering after getting hit by a vehicle.

State Police say 44-year-old Amber Rawn was airlifted to Upstate Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained Thursday, May 7 around 10:30 p.m.

According to troopers, Rawn was struck on Van Kirk Rd. in Newfield after 28-year-old Anthony Vandermark, also of Newfield, failed to see her while driving a 2023 Ford Escape.

The extent of injuries suffered by Rawn haven’t been released by state police investigators.
