One person killed in Danby crash

DANBY, NY (CortacaToday) — A fatal crash in Danby is under investigation. 

Authorities say one person was killed in a head-on crash Wednesday afternoon on Danby Road. According to reports, the driver of a Hyundai sedan didn’t yield to a Toyota sedan who had the right of way.

The Hyundai driver suffered serious injuries and died on Thursday; the other driver was treated for their injuries.

No charges are being filed against the Toyota driver, who authorities say was not at fault.
