Over 200 line up for Goodwill Cortland grand opening

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Goodwill is now open 7 days a week in Cortland.

On Friday, July 17, the nonprofit second-hand store held an official ribbon-cutting to mark the grand opening.

The ceremony was presided over by Goodwill Finger Lakes President and CEO Jennifer Lake and local officials, including Cortland Mayor Scott Steve and Cortland Area Chamber of Commerce President Bob Haight. Over 200 shoppers lined the sidewalk for the 9 a.m. grand opening, and the first 100 customers through the door over 16 received a $10 gift card.

Goodwill is actively accepting applications to fill open positions. Interested candidates can apply online.

Goodwill Cortland is located in Riverside Plaza.
