OVID, NY (607NewsNow) – The Ovid Federated Church is making it easier to help victims of last week’s fire.

The church has created the Ovid Fire Relief Fund in partnership with Community Bank N.A., the village, and the town. Donations can be made at village offices, any Community Bank branch, or electronically. You can donate electronically here.

Beginning in late February, 100% of the money will be distributed via prepaid cards to those who were displaced or lost their jobs. There will be no administrative fees or other deductions. The donations will be given as equitably as possible, and the payments will last through July.

For more information, visit the Ovid Fire Department’s Facebook page.
