(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week are Primrose (Left) from CNY Snap and Black Jack (Right) from the Cortland County SPCA.

Primrose is at the shelter for a third time after being returned due to one owner passing away, and the other having a hard time getting her adjusted to the home while she was awaiting surgery for a severe tail injury. She is a gentle, affectionate, and quiet girl who just needs a home that can provide her with a little extra care and patience.

Black Jack is a senior dog that still has plenty of pep in his step. He still loves to run around outside and play fetch, but equally loves having down time with his favorite people and cuddling up with them. He previously lived in a home with other dogs, so a house that has friendly canine companions would work for him. He is a sweet and affectionate boy with lots of love left to give.
