(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week start with Meadow (Top L) and Viola (Top R) from CNY Snap.
Meadow came to the shelter in September 2023 as a 5-month-old kitten. He had been fending for himself on the street so he’s a little shy with people but can be easily pet. He likes to hang around with the other cats at the shelter and although he may not approach you, he does like to be pet if you go up to him. A home that shows him patience and allows him to come out of his shell would be ideal. He has been neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on his vaccines.
Viola is about 7 to 8 months old and is used to a home environment since she has been living in foster placement. She is friendly and sociable as she has been raised around other kittens and is used to the company of other cats. As a result, it is usually recommended that kittens are adopted in pairs. She has also been spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on her vaccines.
Next, we have siblings Kevin (Bottom L) and Kevi (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. These two sisters are very closely bonded and would love to be adopted into the same home. Both are very affectionate but also value their independence. They both love people but can sometimes be overwhelmed by young children, so a home with mostly or entirely adults would be a good fit for them.
