PREBLE, NY (607NewsNow) — Preble firefighters are looking back on a successful event.

On Feb. 14, authorities hosted a sold-out chicken barbecue. Firefighters said they’re “incredibly grateful” for the support.

“The grills were blazing, the chickens were sizzling, and this community showed up in full force,” firefighters said.

In March, the Preble Fire Department plans to sell cookies with Girl Scouts.
