PREBLE, NY (607NewsNow) — A Preble town official is keeping his job.

The Preble Town Board recently renewed Bill Bearup’s term as town assessor. He’ll continue serving through September 2030.

Elsewhere in Cortland County, Brian Fitts was recently reappointed as town assessor in Virgil. His term will last through December 2030.
