TRUMANSBURG, NY (607NewsNow) – A pair of public hearings loom in Trumansburg.

The village is considering adopting local laws that would establish new school zone speed limits and a parking restriction near the district campus.

If ultimately adopted, the proposed restrictions would be in effect on school days, with the school zone speed limit reductions from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the parking restriction from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The hearings will kick off the upcoming Village Board meeting, which starts at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 10, at Village Hall.

The meeting will also be available via Zoom.
