Search on for new Historic Ithaca executive director

ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – The search has begun for Historic Ithaca’s next top administrator.

Executive Director Susan Holland, who has been leading the group since late 2017, says in a statement she is resigning to ‘take a new position in the community.’ Holland shares she will likely step down “around November 25.” Holland is accepting the Grants and Partnerships Manager position with USC Builds, a Rochester-based company and partner at SouthWorks Ithaca.

Officials credit Holland’s work, saying she led the organization through the pandemic and successfully advocated to save several historic buildings, including the Enfield “Stone House” and the “Red House” in Ithaca.
