State Police ID deceased woman found in Cortlandville

CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) – Authorities have released more information about a body that was discovered two weeks ago in Cortlandville.

State Police have identified the victim as 59-year-old Robin Bowman, of Findlay, Ohio.

Troopers believe Bowman drove to the area, but her reason for doing so remains unknown. The cause of death is still pending.

On November 25, State Police were called to Route 281 near Pall Trinity around 9 a.m. after receiving a report of a deceased individual.

The investigation is ongoing.
