State Police investigating fatal hit and run in Geneva

GENEVA, NY (607NewsNow) – A fatal hit-and-run is under investigation in Geneva.

On October 23, authorities received a report of a deceased person in the southbound lane of Pre Emption Road.

A male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say the initial investigation indicates the man was struck by a southbound vehicle. Autopsy results are pending.

No further information about the victim has been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
