DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) – A partnership is in place between TC3 and the Family Health Network (FHN) of Central New York.

On August 13, TC3 President Amy Kremenek and FHN CEO Kim Osborne signed an agreement in a ceremony at the Dryden campus.

Under the terms of the deal, FHN will bring its mobile medical unit to TC3 every Wednesday, beginning August 26. Services will be available for students, staff, and community members.

“As educators, we are familiar with the challenges our students face, and for many, access to convenient and affordable health care is a significant concern for themselves and their families,” said President Kremenek. “That’s why TC3’s partnership with Family Health Network is so critical. Having the FHN mobile medical unit on campus on a regular schedule to provide primary health care services addresses a real need among our students so that they can focus on their education knowing their health care is addressed. Also, by making the services available to faculty, staff, and the entire community, this will be an extremely valuable asset for Dryden and the broader community we serve.”

The mobile medical unit will provide a wide range of primary care services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, routine physical exams, preventative care, health screenings, and immunizations. Additionally, it will offer lab services, management of ongoing health conditions, medication management, and referrals. It’s a timely collaboration in the wake of Cayuga Primary Care Dryden’s closure earlier this year.

“This agreement with TC3 enables us to further our mission of providing accessible, patient-centered healthcare to everyone in our communities,” said FHN CEO Kim Osborne. “Our mobile medical unit allows us to bring our high-quality healthcare directly to areas where access may be limited. Through regular visits to TC3, we’re able to provide the Dryden community with dependable, convenient access to care they need, close to home.”
