ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The July 4th holiday means some impacts on public transit in Ithaca.

TCAT says buses, Gadabout, and eRide Ithaca will all be on the road tomorrow, July 3, but will not be available on Saturday, July 4.

“On Friday, Gadabout staff will be available by phone but TCAT’s offices, customer service desk, and the 2-1-1 call center for those needing to schedule eRide Ithaca trips will all be closed,” the transit company said.

“While eRide Ithaca riders can use the eRide Ithaca mobile app to schedule their trips on demand as usual, customers needing to schedule by phone are urged to call 2-1-1 before Friday.”
