TCPL to host immigration discussion Thursday

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – You can learn more about a hot-button issue at the Tompkins County Public Library (TCPL).

On November 20, TCPL will host a discussion about the history of immigration and why it has become so polarizing.

It’s part of the library’s The Constitution: Rights to Know programming series. The panel will feature Cornell Professor of Immigration Law Practice Steve Yale-Loehr, and Tania Penafort, a Cornell Law student intern and law clerk working with the Farmworker Legal Assistance Clinic.

It takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in Borg Warner East at the library. You can learn more here.
