TCPL to mark 25 years on Green Street this Saturday

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – The Tompkins County Public Library (TCPL) is celebrating 25 years on Green Street in Ithaca.

On November 8, the library, which moved from its Cayuga Street location in 2000, will host a party to mark its silver anniversary.

The celebration will include sweet treats, giveaways, a behind-the-scenes tour, family-friendly activities, and a Y2K-themed dance party.

Two winners of the Library Card Design Contest, chosen by popular vote, will also have their artwork unveiled.

Free and open to the public, the Birthday Party /Open House takes place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. More information is available here.

The 25th Anniversary Celebration is made possible with funding from the Friends of the Tompkins County Public Library.
