FREEVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) — The Village Pantry FLX is set to move into the former Shortline Bakery location on Main Street in Freeville.

According to a Facebook post, owners Brianne and Patrick are currently working on painting, renovating, and testing recipes for the market space.

The space is located in the same building at the Freeville Literary Association, run by Freeville native Amy Dickinson. Brianne and Patrick decided to claim the space after meeting with Dickinson, looking to bring a neighborhood market to Freeville’s Main Street that can serve as a “welcoming place where people can shop for fresh, local goods from nearby farmers and connect with their community,” per the Village Pantry FLX website.

Sourdough breads, baked goods, locally raised meat and eggs, seasonal produce, and a curated selection of products from nearby farmers will be offered at the market. Learn more about The Village Pantry FLX on their Facebook page here, and their website here.
