AUBURN, NY (607NewsNow) – A threat of violence to Cayuga Community College (CCC) is under investigation.

Police are determining the validity of the threat, which was received in the early morning hours on March 4.

Although the threat was directed at CCC’s Auburn location, classes have been cancelled at both the Auburn and Fulton campuses.

The Auburn Enlarged City School District has also closed all schools due to the proximity of the Junior High School to the CCC Auburn campus.

This is a developing story.
