Three charged in Nichols commercial theft

NICHOLS, NY (607NewsNow) – Three men face felonies in Tioga County.

On September 8, deputies responded to the Best Buy Distribution Center in Nichols for a report of a larceny in progress.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects entered the grounds through a perimeter fence and forcibly opened a storage trailer, where they stole some items. The group allegedly staged additional items with the intent of stealing them.

Noel Guadalupe, of the Bronx, Tyquan Jacobs, of Mount Vernon, and Nikoly Da Silva, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, are charged with grand larceny, attempted grand larceny, and criminal mischief.

Guadalupe was additionally charged as a fugitive from justice for a previous parole violation in Pennsylvania. He was remanded to Tioga County Jail, where he awaits extradition to the Keystone State.
