Tioga County Fair set to kick off for five consecutive days, starts pre-fair events

OWEGO, NY (607NewsNow) – It’s almost time for the Tioga County Fair.

Five consecutive days of fun at the Tioga County Fairgrounds officially kick off Tuesday, August 11. However, several pre-fair events are happening today, and carnival and grandstand events don’t begin until August 12.

There is free admission tomorrow, with events running all day beginning at 8 a.m. Local state representatives Donna Lupardo, Tom O’Mara, and Chris Friend will be in attendance.

Highlights for this year’s celebration include the Demolition Derby, fireworks, and pro wrestling. The fair runs through Saturday, August 15. More information, including a full schedule, is available here.
