Tioga man accused of stealing $9k in merchandise from truck stop

NICHOLS, NY (607NewsNow) – A Tioga County man is accused of stealing from a business.

On February 11, deputies arrested 33-year-old Derak Heyman following an investigation into a commercial theft that occurred on January 7.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office, the Town of Tioga man stole over $9,000 worth of merchandise from the Onvo Truck Stop in Nichols.

Heyman is facing felony grand larceny.
