ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — The Tompkins Chamber is getting a temporary leader. 

Peggy Coleman steps in as interim president later this month, as Jennifer Tavares prepares to become director of community relations at Cornell.

Coleman is currently director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau at the Chamber, where she’s worked the past eight years. Tavares leaves the Chamber for Cornell in October.
