LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) — High on the 2026 wishlist for Tompkins County Sheriff Derek Osborne is new space.

Osborne tells 607 News Now his department has outgrown the current facility on Warren Rd. in Lansing,

Osborne adds the issue isn’t a new topic.

The Tompkins County Public Safety Building opened in the 1980s.
