ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Don’t miss your chance to meet the people vying for a seat on the Tompkins County Legislature.

On September 29, the Tompkins Chamber, in partnership with the Community Foundation of Tompkins County and the Ithaca Board of Realtors, is hosting a Meet the Candidates Forum.

Every legislative hopeful will be there, save for District 8 candidate James Perkins, District 9’s Lee Shurtleff, and District 13’s Irene Weiser, who cannot attend due to prior engagements. The event is free and open to the public; however, registration is recommended as space is limited.

It takes place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday in the BorgWarner Room at the Tompkins County Public Library.

The event will also be streamed live on the Tompkins Chamber YouTube page.
