LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) – A Lansing woman faces a felony.

On January 10, Diana Hayes was pulled over at the intersection of Peruville and Van Ostrand Roads in Lansing for failing to maintain her travel lane.

According to the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, deputies had the 44-year-old’s SUV towed after discovering her license was suspended. During a vehicle inventory, deputies allegedly found 49 folded wax paper tabs containing a white powdery substance. It was confirmed to be cocaine after testing.

Hayes was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
