TST BOCES receives Chef Anne Foundation grant for salad bar

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Local students will get access to healthier meals.

TST BOCES is one of 161 national recipients of a grant from the Chef Anne Foundation. Nearly $5,000 will go toward a new salad bar, training, and ongoing support to provide students with access to fresh vegetables and fruit.

The initiative is designed to help youth develop healthier eating habits.

Since 2010, the Chef Anne Foundation has helped equip school districts with more than 6,200 salad bars across the country.
