Virgil board appoints bookkeeper, clerks

VIRGIL, NY (607NewsNow) — A Cortland County town is assembling its staff.

The Virgil Town Board recently appointed Makenzie Eaves as town bookkeeper. Her appointment begins Jan. 1.

The board also approved Shannon Doubet and Bree Anne Byrnes as part-time clerks. In addition, Karen Cornell was approved as court clerk.

The appointments were all unanimously approved on Dec. 11.
