Waverly man arrested as fugitive from justice

ELMIRA, NY (607NewsNow) – An incarcerated Tioga County man will face a felony in Pennsylvania.

On March 24, Joshua Montgomery, of Waverly, was arrested as a Fugitive from Justice by the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.

The 44-year-old, who was in custody in Chemung County Jail on unrelated charges, is wanted in Bradford County for theft by unlawfully taking movable property. Montgomery was arraigned and returned to Chemung County Jail pending extradition to the Keystone State.
