LOCAL

Ithaca College has a new football coach. Brandon Maguire was chosen to replace Mike Toerper, who left in December to become defensive coordinator for the football program at Cornell. Maguire has been IC’s offensive coordinator since 2024.

TC3 men’s basketball came up short against Onondaga Community College on Tuesday, 68-65. The TC3 women’s team also lost to OCC, 99-40.

NHL

Islanders beat the Penguins, 5-4. The Sabres lost to the Lightning, 4-3. Rangers host the Hurricanes tonight at MSG. Puck drops at 7.

NBA

The Knicks defeated the Wizards, 132-101. The Nets fell to the Lakers, 125-109.
