CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – While the pool remains closed, the Cortland County Family YMCA has worked out a deal for its swimmers.

SUNY Cortland is allowing YMCA members to use the Student Life Center pool while repairs are happening at the Y.

If you’re interested, grab a voucher from the YMCA and bring it to the SUNY Cortland offices to sign up for their program. Although the Y pool is scheduled to reopen on January 4, you’ll be able to swim at the Student Life Center through the 18th.

The YMCA pool closed earlier this month to repair a leak. It had been losing over two inches of water daily.
