A Firefighter Tribute to 9/11

This is an interesting tribute to the first responders who died on 9/11.   Because it’s unique, and because the guy who did it didn’t do it publicly, or expect it to go viral.  He did it from the heart.

A firefighter named Jason Harding went into a Planet Fitness gym in Knoxville, Tennessee yesterday, and asked if he could climb 110 sets on the Stairmaster . . . in his FULL firefighting gear.

He wanted to honor the firefighters who ran up 110 flights of stairs at the World Trade Center to save people’s lives on September 11th.

They gave him the okay, so he put on his full gear and got on that Stairmaster.

The gym was almost empty, so he wasn’t doing it to make a statement or make a public spectacle.  But someone took a photo of him and posted it on Facebook, and it went viral.
