Last week, a minor league baseball game in Connecticut featured a surprise marriage proposal by a guy named David. He’d worked it out so his girlfriend Jessica thought she was doing some kind of trivia challenge down on the field. But the third question was, “will you marry me” . . . and she said NO, then ran off the field. The announcer who helped set it up didn’t make the rejection any easier on David, either.
