Here’s The Things You’ll Want To See Hear and Know Today.
The Big Picture
Former Congressman Anthony Weiner is back in the news again facing NEW allegations of sexual conversations with women who aren’t his wife, Huma Abedin. The conversations happened with a 22-year-old woman on Facebook through August of last year. That means this all went down after he resigned from Congress in June of 2011 over the sexting scandal. Weiner used the fake name “Carlos Danger” during his conversations with the woman, and apparently the relationship went on for six months. They would talk on the phone and send sexually explicit pictures to each other, while Weiner apparently promised the woman he’d get her things like a job at Politico.com and a condo in Chicago. Yesterday, Weiner held a press conference with his wife, Huma, by his side, and admitted to the conversations. Anthony Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, who’s also in politics and worked under Hillary Clinton, says she’s standing by her husband through all of this, and she just wants to move forward.

Amanda Bynes was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation yesterday, after she set a fire in someone’s driveway. She had a whole can of gasoline with her, and nearly exploded it when she put a flaming rag down on top of it. Luckily it didn’t get that far. She tried to take off in a cab, but the cops caught them and took her to the hospital instead.
Earlier this week, there were reports that a bunch of big name artists were joining STEVIE WONDER’S boycott of Florida . . . and any other state with a “Stand Your Ground” law.
Well, perhaps not surprisingly, it appears to be FAKE . . . because reps for a “number of the artists” have denied that their clients are onboard. That being said, the artists these clients represent haven’t been named.
The reporter who first released the list is sticking by her story . . . and claims she heard this from, quote, “very credible sources.” She says the denials are because, quote, “They are uncomfortable being identified on that list.”
Regardless, we’ll assume it’s fake until an artist says they ARE joining the boycott.

JENNIFER NETTLES has explained why she decided to record a solo album apart from SUGARLAND. And it sounds like she was bored with the same old sound. Quote, “I didn’t want to stagnate and turn into a caricature of an artist. I wanted to put something out that was fresh, and to me, exciting.”
The Backside of the News
This man must REALLY not value his nipples. Last week, in Beckley, West Virginia, a man went into a pet store and shoplifted a two-foot baby ALLIGATOR by shoving it UP HIS SHIRT. The employees checked the surveillance footage and recognized him as a regular customer, so the police should be able to track him down quickly.
Everyone’s worst amusement park nightmare came true over the weekend: A woman who wasn’t properly secured in a roller coaster at Six Flags in Arlington, Texas FELL OUT, and died.
So . . . should YOU worry about dying at an amusement park?
The answer is . . . no. Absolutely not. According to the most recent statistics, in 2011, about 1,415 people were injured on amusement park rides in the U.S. That sounds like a lot . . . but people took 1.7 BILLION rides in 2011.
That means only 0.000000008% of amusement park rides ended with someone getting injured. In other words, only about one out of every 1.2 million rides ended in an injury.
